Job: Unix System Administrator - West Yorkshire, PeopleCo

You will be a skilled Unix System Administrator/Support Specialist possessing experience within a Unix Sys Admin environment supporting AIX Servers. Highly desirable is HP/ Linux based platforms. This role is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new projects/deployment and entails ensuring planning & installing AIX Unix Systems with LPAR experience utilising HMC and NIM.In addition, provide ongoing support of AIX & HP environments ie problem determination, patching, upgrades & firmware application. systems are available at all times,performance of systems is ensured.Planning & installing HP UX & AIX Unix Systems, configure,partition, test & implement software;provide problem solving & administration; Project work, trouble shooting & day-to-day administration,Disaster Recovery & able to provide solutions to infrastructure projects within an HP & AIX remit.Must have strong communication skills,team work,ability to work with IT & non-IT personnel at all levels,.This position offers an individual an exciting & challenging opportunity to work on new Unix projects within an established IT environment that offers skill & career potential at an early stage.Role offers competitive salary plus benefits.Send CV now for immediate consideration
