Job: FI and FX Compliance Officer, PeopleCo

You will provide comprehensive advisory, training and control service to our Front Office of "Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities" in Zurich.

The tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

* Provide regulatory advice to the assigned business as required, including issues related to transactions, new business arrangements and internal policies

* Ensure regular interaction with CLIENT'S internal stakeholders such as Front-Office personal, Operations, Business Management, other Control Functions (including Market Risk, Credit Risk), Internal Audit

* Conduct monitoring activities according to the IB Compliance Switzerland Monitoring Programme as well as consider possibilities for further developing existing monitoring processes and create new ones as needed

* Conduct periodic visits to the CLIENT'S-IB branch offices in Switzerland

* Provide Education Sessions to internal stakeholders in Compliance related matters

* Provide support to the Risk Assessment Team in routine risk assessments and other ad hoc reviews of business areas and assist in resolving any weaknesses identified

As FI and FX Compliance Officer you will provide support to the Legal & Compliance teams to enable it to efficiently and effectively carry out its functions.

Requirements

* Good understanding of Fixed Income and Foreign Exchange products and sound understanding of Compliance

* University Degree and at least 3 years Compliance, Audit or relevant business experience (e.g. Trading, Operations, Credit Risk)

* The ability to exercise sound judgement under pressure

* Enthusiasm and attention to detail will be invaluable

* Fluency in both English and German
